Alternative Rock from Boston, MA. 51 Shortfalls was formed in, and named for the last week of 2009. We sit somewhere in the Alt-rock, Alt-punk genre, with a dash of everything. 51 Shortfalls has formed a sound eclectic and ever changing. People have compared us to: Rise Against, A Day to Remember, Alkaline Trio, 3 Days Grace, with our own style. Starting in Boston, MA and spreading across New England we are building a new rock scene and growing roots wherever we stop. 51 Shortfalls is an indie band (not sponsored by a label- the true meaning of indie) We have built and continue to grow on the love of our fans and music. We aren't rich and don't do it for the money, we do it to make music that means something. We are about building unity among us all, in spite of differences.
