While The Life Electric has only been an official band for a few short months, their debut self-titled album, released in May 2012, is the culmination of well over a year's worth of work.
Having written, recorded, and started to mix the album a year ago under a different moniker, the band was faced with tremendous adversity when a key member stepped away, leaving the rest of the band with fully-recorded songs, no lyrics or melodies, and no idea what to do next.
Little did the band know, however, that help was soon on the way. New frontman Joey Chehade brought new life to the band and its songs, restoring the band's faith in the original music they had written -- The Life Electric was born. The May 2012 release (finally!) of TLE's album will forever be worn by the band as a badge of persistence.
